Oulton Neighbourhood Area

Oulton Parish Council has submitted an application to designate a revised Neighbourhood Area for the purposes of producing a Neighbourhood Plan.

The Neighbourhood Development Plan is a way for the Parish Council to help shape how the community develops over the coming years. This is not a formal consultation on the Neighbourhood Development Plan itself, but whether this is a suitable area for the plan to cover.

Before deciding on the suitability of the proposed Neighbourhood Area, Waveney District Council would like to hear your views. You can view the application form submitted, which includes a map of the proposed area, and respond to this consultation below. If you would like to find out more about Neighbourhood Planning in general, please visit www.eastsuffolk.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplanning.

Please note: The previous Oulton Neighbourhood Area boundary included areas outside of Oulton parish. Since that application was approved in 2015, these areas are now within Lowestoft parish and Lowestoft Town Council intends to create a Neighbourhood Plan for its entire parish. Therefore, Oulton Parish Council has resubmitted its Neighbourhood Area application to cover Oulton parish only.
